Actions

Aether-Rifle.Ranged Weapon Attack: +9 to hit, range 300/1200 ft., one target. Hit: 18 (2d12 + 5) force damage. This attack ignores half and three-quarters cover.

Appearance

Commander Silas is a lean, sun-baked human with a mechanical, telescopic eye and a cloak made of shifting sand-silk that allows him to vanish in plain sight. He carries a long-range Aether-rifle with a crystalline scope that hums with a low, menacing frequency.

Personality

Professional, patient, and utterly cold, Silas is a perfectionist who views every assassination as a mathematical problem to be solved. He has no interest in the politics of the Vulture Syndicate; he only cares about the challenge of the shot.

Secret Motives

Silas is a former elite sniper for the Arcane Ascendancy who was dishonorably discharged for "unauthorized experimentation" with Aether-rounds. He seeks to prove his tactical superiority by "glassing" Fortune's Lake and eventually sniping the High Council of Kigum from the Shattered Plains.

Combat Tactics

A master of long-range engagement, Silas attacks from extreme range, often before the party even knows he is there. He uses "Dust-Warp" (a localized teleport) to relocate instantly after firing. His rifle rounds ignore all cover and deal massive critical damage to unsuspecting targets.
