Warmonger Grog

Warmonger Grog is a high-ranking officer in the Steamfort Iron Guard, known more for his destructive tendencies than his strategic brilliance. A dwarf of massive proportions even by his race's standards, Grog is encased in a suit of experimental steam-powered plate armor that is bristling with tubes, vents, and a devastating shoulder-mounted Aether-cannon. He is a loud, abrasive, and violent individual who believes that every problem in Aethervale can be solved with enough firepower.

Grog is obsessed with the testing of new Aether-artillery. He often redirects "redundant" equipment from Steamfort’s defenses to his own personal unit, the "Wall-Breakers," and seeks out any excuse to deploy them in live combat. He views the ongoing tensions between Steamfort and Kigum as a golden opportunity to "stress test" his newest toys on the "pompous sky-dwellers."

Secret Motivation: "Grog is being bribed by a shadowy group of arms dealers to 'demonstrate' the effectiveness of their new Aetheric weapons in actual war zones, regardless of the political fallout."

Adventure Hook: "Grog has declared a 'live fire exercise' in a neutral mining zone that just happens to be occupied by a peaceful settlement. The players must either convince him to stop or find a way to disable his artillery before the shelling begins."
