Shaman Vor’gath

Shaman Vor’gath
Shaman Vor’gath is a fanatical Fire Giant who leads a splinter faction of the northern tribes. He is a direct rival to Jarl Throm-Ka, believing that the Jarl’s tactical approach is too "human-like" and that the giants should instead embrace their primordial origins. Vor’gath is covered in ritualistic obsidian scars that glow with a dull, orange light, and he carries a massive staff made from a single, solidified vein of magma.
He preaches a doctrine of "The Eternal Ember," claiming that the ancient dragon Ignis-Kaan will soon awaken to cleanse the world in a great fire, and that only those who have "purified" themselves in flame will be spared.
Secret Motivation: Vor’gath is not actually receiving visions from Ignis-Kaan. He is being manipulated by Vorithrax, the ancient black dragon, who is using the giants to create a "Ring of Fire" around the northern Aether Nodes to prevent Kigum from accessing them.
Adventure Hook: Jarl Throm-Ka hires the party to "quietly eliminate" Vor’gath before his radical teachings can trigger a full-scale civil war among the fire giants. The party must infiltrate Vor’gath’s mountain caldera, which is filled with lava and fanatical giant warriors.
