Background & Objective

Varkas the Shard-Lord is moving a massive shipment of Aether Express Packages across the Shattered Plains to Fortune's Lake Town. Sergeant Torin of a rival mercenary band has been hired to hijack it. The party can either guard the convoy for Varkas or join Torin's raid for a cut of the profits.

  • Sergeant Torin: Tactical and ruthless, planning a highly coordinated strike using the terrain.

The Setting: The Shattered Plains

  • The Chokepoint: A narrow pass between two massive crystalline structures.
  • The Lake Town Border: The final stretch, heavily patrolled but chaotic.

Narrative Outcomes & Loot

  • Success: The convoy arrives safely (or is successfully hijacked), drastically altering the local economy.
  • Failure: The convoy is destroyed, and both factions suffer massive losses.
  • Loot: Crates of Aether Express Packages, mercenary armaments, and favor with the winning faction.
