Warden-Commander Krog

Warden-Commander Krog is the hardened officer in charge of the Gull-Watch Towers network and the primary field commander for the Acorn Guard’s outer-canopy patrols. A physically imposing (for a Muridae) Briar-Kin with fur the color of storm-clouds, Krog is known for his no-nonsense attitude and his absolute dedication to the safety of The Crown City of Ardor.

Krog oversees the most dangerous sector of the forest—the high, exposed branches where the Boundary Ocean winds are strongest and the giant gulls are most active. He has personally survived dozens of gull-raids and is a master of defensive, static warfare. While Flight-Leader Pippin represents the Guard's aerial flair, Krog represents its unyielding wall.

He is highly respected by his troops, who call him "Old Bark" because of his perceived toughness and his tendency to remain completely still for hours while observing the horizon. He has little patience for the "mystical mumblings" of the Mist-Weaver Coven and believes that a well-placed harpoon is a better defense than any magical fog.

Secret Motivation: Krog is secretly mourning the loss of his entire "Flight" during a massive storm several years ago. He blames himself for their deaths and has become obsessively protective of his current recruits, often leading him to take unnecessary risks to ensure their safety.

Adventure Hook: A particularly aggressive and large gull—known as "Cloud-Striker"—has been targeting the Gull-Watch Towers. Krog is looking for a group of brave (or foolish) adventurers to help him lure the bird into an ambush and end its reign of terror once and for all.
