Appearance

The Weeping Seer is a gaunt, blind human man whose eyes have been permanently sewn shut with silver thread. He is constantly weeping a thick, black fluid that stains his desert robes and his face. He moves with a slow, deliberate grace, as if navigating a world only he can see.

Personality

Melancholy, cryptic, and profoundly weary, the Seer speaks in fragmented prophecies and seems to be in constant psychic pain. He is forced to project the Mirage-King's illusions and views his own powers as a curse that has stolen his soul.

Secret Motives

Formerly a noble scholar of Kigum who was kidnapped and broken by Kaelen, the Seer secretly hopes the players will kill him. He provides subtle clues within his mirages that point to Kaelen's weaknesses, hoping to be "released" from his forced service before the Shard is shattered.

Combat Tactics

The Seer is a powerful illusionist who creates multiple copies of himself and his allies to confuse the party. He projects "Mind-Shatter" mirages that cause psychic damage and can force enemies to make Wisdom saves against being Charmed or Frightened. He is physically weak but is always protected by several "Glass-Goliaths."
