Overseer Helga

Title: Director of the Blue-Vein Refinery
Role: Helga is a no-nonsense dwarf who runs the city’s largest Aether-refinery. She is responsible for converting raw crystals into the liquid Aether that fuels the city’s mechs and airships. She is a master of logistics and is known for her ability to keep the refinery running even under the most dire circumstances.

Secret Motivation: Helga is a devotee of Ignis-Kaan. She believes that the Cinder King’s return is inevitable and that Steamfort’s industry is the perfect tool to forge his new empire. She has been subtly sabotaging the refinery’s safety protocols, preparing for a "Grand Overload" that will incinerate the city and serve as a beacon for the Red Dragon.

Adventure Hook: Helga hires the party to recover a "Thermal Regulator" from a shipwreck in the Lifeless Swells. She claims it's needed to prevent an explosion, but it's actually the final component she needs to trigger the Grand Overload.
