Master Artificer Bramm

Title: Chief Architect of the Vaults
Role: Bramm is a stout, soot-stained man who looks more like a Steamfort dwarf than a Kigum mage. He is the mastermind behind the magical and mechanical traps that protect the Grand Arcane Bank. His life is dedicated to the "unbreakable" nature of his designs, and he takes immense pride in the fact that no one has successfully breached a High Vault in over two centuries.

Secret Motivation: Bramm is obsessed with the legend of the "First Brood." He believes that the ancient dragons left behind blueprints for a "World-Lock"—a device capable of sealing away all magic. He has been secretly using Bank resources to build a prototype, convinced that the world is too dangerous as long as mages can bend reality. He is unwittingly being fed information by agents of the Obsidian Scale, who want him to build the device so they can use it as a weapon.

Adventure Hook: Bramm hires the party to recover a "Primal Gear" from a ruin in the Mana Wastes. He claims it is for a new vault door, but the gear is actually an essential component for his World-Lock prototype.
