Master Architect Durgrin

Title: Chief Builder of the Great Halls
Role: Durgrin is the man responsible for the incredible architecture of Dal-Dur. He is a master of stone-shaping and structural engineering, and his designs are both beautiful and impregnable. He is a perfectionist who takes personal offense at any crack or blemish in the city’s masonry.

Secret Motivation: Durgrin is a secret member of the "Obsidian Scale." He was recruited with the promise of "Everlasting Stone"—a material that never decays. He has been subtly incorporating draconic symbols into the city’s new fortifications, creating a "magical grid" that will allow the cult to bypass the city’s defenses when the time comes. He is currently working on the "Throne Room Expansion," which is actually a ritual chamber.

Adventure Hook: A young apprentice architect notices a "strange pattern" in Durgrin’s latest blueprints and brings them to the party. They must investigate Durgrin’s private office to find the truth without alerting the city guard.
