Appearance

Ignis is a female giantfolk shaman whose hair is composed of literal, living fire that shifts from red to white-hot depending on her mood. She wears armor of hardened obsidian that pulses with an internal, volcanic heat. Her voice has the roar of a furnace and the crackle of burning timber.

Personality

Zealous, destructive, and deeply connected to the primal elements, Ignis views the "Iron" of Steamfort's technology as a cage for the "Ash" of the natural world. She is a fanatic who seeks to burn away the "industrial rot" of the continent to return Aethervale to its original, molten state.

Secret Motives

Ignis is the one responsible for binding fire elementals into Kaelar's war machines. She considers this a necessary evil but is secretly terrified that the elementals will eventually break free. She suffers from recurring nightmares where her own hair consumes her, and she is desperately searching for a way to achieve "Primal Ascension" to escape her mortal form.

Combat Tactics

Ignis specializes in wide-area fire magic and the summoning of Magma Elementals. She can "Weave" fire into the mechanical engines of her allies, granting them additional fire damage on their attacks. She is immune to fire damage and can use a reaction to absorb fire-based spells cast at her, using the energy to heal herself.
