Captain Korgra Iron-Eye

Title: Captain of the Ironclad Vanguard
Role: Korgra is a battle-hardened dwarf who lost her left eye during the Siege of Vanes Vigil. She replaced it with a custom-built, Aether-powered iron eye that allows her to see through solid objects and detect thermal or magical signatures. She leads the Ironclad Vanguard, an elite heavy infantry unit specializing in urban pacification, breach operations, and the suppression of magical anomalies. Known for her unyielding discipline and raspy command voice, she is a fixture in the industrial districts of Steamfort.

Secret Motivation: Korgra is secretly in league with the Gear Grinders, using her position to smuggle high-grade Aether components out of Steamfort's military vaults. Her mechanical eye is more than a sensor; it’s a recording device she uses to map out the inner workings of Steamfort’s most classified defenses. She believes the city's leadership has become weak and bureaucratic, and she is hoarding wealth and technology to eventually lead a coup and transform Steamfort into a pure meritocratic technocracy.

Adventure Hook: Korgra "seizes" a shipment belonging to the party, claiming it contains "unregulated Aetheric contraband." Instead of arresting them, she offers a deal: she will return their goods and grant them a "Vanguard Pass" if they assist her in a "deniable" operation to retrieve a prototype "Null-Core" from a rival research lab that she cannot officially raid.
