Brother Alandis

Title: Priest of the Eternal Sun
Role: Alandis is a cleric who resides in Dorey, where he leads a small congregation of elves who worship the sun as a symbol of purity and life. He is a man of great faith and is often seen performing rituals to "purify" the forest from the corruption of the Mana Wastes.

Secret Motivation: Alandis has been "receiving messages" from what he believes is a solar deity. The messages are actually being sent by the Ancient Red Dragon Ignis-Kaan, who is trying to manipulate the elven faith to prepare for his "Grand Incineration." Ignis-Kaan wants Alandis to "bless" a specific grove of trees, which will actually turn them into living torches when the dragon awakens.

Adventure Hook: Alandis asks the party to help him "consecrate" the grove. During the ritual, the party notices that the "holy water" is actually highly flammable Aetheric oil.
