Broker Kaelen Voss

Title: Lead Speculator of Aetheric Futures
Role: Kaelen is a young, ambitious man who deals in the trade of "future magic"—the rights to Aetheric energy yet to be harvested. He is charismatic and fast-talking, always looking for the next big investment. He operates out of a lavish office overlooking the Spire’s central plaza, filled with ticking clocks and glowing maps of Aether-veins.

Secret Motivation: Kaelen has made a deal with the Obsidian Scale. They provide him with information on where new Aether-veins will erupt (often by triggering them themselves), and he ensures that the Bank buys the rights to those lands at inflated prices. He doesn't care about the dragons; he only cares about the commissions. However, the cult is starting to demand more than just financial favors—they want him to help them smuggle "Void-Shards" into the city.

Adventure Hook: Kaelen’s latest "sure thing" investment has gone horribly wrong, and the Aether-vein he predicted has instead summoned a swarm of void-horrors. He needs the party to clear out the site before the Bank’s auditors arrive and discover his connection to the "erroneous" data.
