Azazel, the Ash-Herald

Appearance
Azazel is a towering pit fiend whose wings are composed of cooling, jagged obsidian and whose eyes burn with the intensity of molten Aether. He wears a crown of basalt and robes that seem to be woven from smoke and embers. His voice is a rich, cultured baritone that carries the crackle of a dying fire.
Personality
Sophisticated, cruel, and deeply manipulative, Azazel is the architect of the Obsidian Scale's most complex operations. Unlike many of his kind, he values patience and long-term planning over brute force. He treats the Cinder King with exaggerated, mocking deference while secretly guiding the dragon's rage.
Secret Motives
Azazel does not serve the First Brood out of loyalty. He views them as powerful tools to weaken the fabric of reality. His ultimate goal is to ensure the "World-Fire" is catastrophic enough to tear open a permanent portal to the Lower Planes, allowing a full-scale demonic invasion of Aethervale.
Combat Tactics
Azazel is a devastating combatant who combines high-level fire and necrotic magic with brutal physical strikes. He can summon Magma Elementals to serve as distractions and creates zones of toxic ash that blind and suffocate his enemies. He takes great pleasure in using Modify Memory or Suggestion to turn allies against each other mid-battle.
