The Weavers

The Weavers are the elite scholars, researchers, and mages of the Aetheric Accord, responsible for the observation, mapping, and theoretical understanding of Aethervale's Aetheric Currents. While the Sentinels handle the militant defense of the world's magical balance, the Weavers spend their lives in the celestial observatories and ancient libraries of Lemmion, utilizing massive starlight-attuned telescopes and intricate "Mana-Charts" to track the invisible rivers of magic that wrap around the globe. They do not view magic as a tool for personal power, but as the "Loom of Creation"—a delicate and interconnected system that must be understood in its entirety to be properly protected.

The primary duty of a Weaver is "Current-Mapping." By analyzing the fluctuations in ambient magic, they can predict the arrival of mana-storms, identify the location of weakened Aether Nodes, and detect the signature of "unstable" magic used by rogue mages or cults like the Void Gazers. They are the ones who provide the Arch-Wardens with the data necessary to make their global strategic decisions. Weavers are also responsible for the development of "Resonance-Magic"—a form of arcane manipulation that focuses on stabilizing and healing corrupted currents rather than refining or draining them. Their work is often slow, meticulous, and entirely invisible to the rest of the world, yet it is the foundation upon which the Aetheric Accord's entire mission rests.

Within the Accord, the Weavers are highly respected for their intellectual discipline and their commitment to the preservation of ancient knowledge. They maintain the "Crystal Archives," a vast repository of draconic lore and pre-Ruin history that is hidden deep within the roots of Lemmion. Despite their academic focus, Weavers are formidable mages in their own right, capable of weaving complex "Null-Wards" and "Stabilization-Fields" that can neutralize even the most violent magical anomalies. They often clash with the scholars of Kigum's Grand Spire, viewing their "brute-force" refinement techniques as a form of intellectual and magical vandalism. To a Weaver, the world is a symphony of magical vibrations, and their role is to ensure that the music of Aethervale continues without discord.
