Druids are the ancient wardens of Aethervale's natural magic, deeply connected to the primal forces of earth, storm, and beast. Among the Sylvan elves of Lemmion and Wyn Dor, druids hold the highest positions of respect and authority. They are the protectors of the ancient forests, using their deep connection to the land to guide the growth of the massive trees, communicate with the spirits of the wild, and fiercely defend their borders against the relentless expansion of the industrial cities.
While many associate druids with dense woodlands, their power extends to all aspects of nature. In the turbulent waters of the Broad Swells, a different kind of druid thrives. Among the ranks of the Sea-Wolves, oceanic druids work to reclaim the seas from corruption and overfishing. They command the tides, summon massive squalls to protect their fleets, and bond with terrifying leviathans of the deep, ensuring that the ocean remains a wild, untamed frontier.
Regardless of their environment, all druids share a profound belief in the Balance. They view the explosive growth of Aether-technology and arcane exploitation as a dangerous wound upon the world. Druids often act as radical environmentalists, sabotaging logging camps, disrupting Aether-mining operations, and working tirelessly to heal the scarred landscapes left behind by the reckless ambitions of the industrialized world.
