Myra's Mostly Mundane Mulch

Myra's Mostly Mundane Mulch
A silly cantrip that can generate some mulch to help plants grow quickly
The mulch manifests as a damp, steaming pile of organic matter that smells suspiciously like old library books and wet forest floor. While the mulch itself is temporary—vanishing into a fine, sparkling dust after 24 hours—any botanical growth it stimulated remains.
Level: Cantrip Casting Time: 1 action Range: 10 feet Components: V, S, M (a pinch of dried tea leaves and a drop of pond water) Duration: Instantaneous
Upon casting, you target a patch of soil or a container. The mulch grants any non-magical plant rooted within it the nutrients required for one week of growth in a single hour. If used on a decorative flower, it blooms instantly; if used on a vegetable, it might provide a slightly oversized, albeit somewhat earthy-tasting, snack by lunchtime.
Myra’s Note: "Efficiency is the soul of gardening, darling. Why wait for spring when you can have a prize-winning turnip before the kettle boils? Just... don't use it on the floorboards. The landlord was quite cross about the spontaneous ferns in the floor joists."
At Higher Levels: This spell was never intended to be powerful, but persistent casters have noted that at 5th level, the mulch is infused with enough minor arcana to repel common garden slugs. At 11th level, the mulch is surprisingly warm to the touch, allowing plants to grow even in light frost. At 17th level, the mulch is so potent that plants may occasionally whistle tunelessly while you aren't looking. 5 cubic feet
