Thalassa the Mutated

Appearance
Once a beautiful sea-elf paladin, Thalassa is now a horrific amalgamation of humanoid and cephalopod. She has four additional muscular tentacles sprouting from her back, and her skin is covered in bioluminescent, weeping sores that pulse with unrefined Aether. Her eyes have become large, black, and lidless.
Personality
Sorrowful yet fanatical, Thalassa believes her mutation is a "blessing" from the Aether-Ribbons. She views the surface world as a parasite consuming the ocean's life and believes that only by "drowning" the continent in raw magic can Aethervale be saved.
Secret Motives
Thalassa seeks to merge her consciousness with the central Aether-node in the Coral Labyrinth. She believes that by becoming a living leyline, she can protect the ocean from surface pollution and personally direct the Aether-storms to wash away the cities of Kigum and Steamfort.
Combat Tactics
Thalassa combines martial prowess with powerful water-manipulation magic. She uses her tentacles to grapple multiple opponents simultaneously while casting spells. She can release a cloud of toxic abyssal ink that deals psychic damage and can teleport through water sources within the room.
