Kargun "Iron-Jaw" Thrain

Role: Proprietor of the Rusty Cog Tavern
Description: A retired Shield Bearer of Dal-Dur, Kargun earned his nickname when his jaw was shattered in the Deep Mines and replaced with a reinforced iron prosthetic. He also sports a massive steam-powered prosthetic arm that occasionally hisses and vents steam during moments of exertion. Kargun is gruff, speaks in short sentences, and has no patience for those who disrespect his establishment or his dogs. Despite his exterior, he is a man of deep honor and loyalty.

The Hook: Kargun has noticed some "strange characters" hanging around the entrance to the Rusty Cog's basement. He suspect someone is trying to get to Sparky Elara, the gnome artificer who works down there, and he wants the party to keep an eye out while he's busy handling the dinner rush.
