Captain Gunther

Title: Commander of the "Sky-Piercer"
Role: Gunther is a human airship captain with a prosthetic arm and a glass eye. He is a legendary figure in the North, known for his daring raids against giant settlements and his ability to navigate the most treacherous storms. He is a man of action who prefers the open sky to the cramped streets of Steamfort.

Secret Motivation: Gunther’s "glass eye" is actually an ancient draconic artifact that allows him to see through illusions and track Aether-signatures. He found it during a crash-landing in the Mana Wastes. He is using it to hunt for a "Flying City" that he believes was hidden by the dragons centuries ago. He is convinced that the city contains a weapon that can end the Cold War once and for all.

Adventure Hook: Gunther’s airship is "attacked" by a mysterious force and forced to land in the Elven Enclaves. He hires the party to help him repair the ship and defend it from the "ghostly attackers" while he investigates a nearby elven ruin.
