Master Overseer

Ecology
The Master Overseer is a massive, multi-armed clockwork construct that serves as the central intelligence and security coordinator for ancient manufacturing hubs. It is wired directly into the facility's mainframe, allowing it to manipulate the entire environment of its chamber to its advantage.
Lair Actions
In its central control room, the Overseer can use the following lair actions:
- Electrified Floor: The metal floor grid becomes electrified, dealing 4d8 lightning damage to anyone not on a non-conductive surface.
- Assembly Arms: Four massive mechanical arms drop from the ceiling to grapple and lift targets into the air.
- Aether-Vent: High-pressure steam or Aether-gas is vented into the room, creating heavily obscured areas and dealing fire or force damage.
Combat Mechanics
The Overseer uses its multiple arms to deliver four "Slam" attacks per round and can fire Aether-lasers from its central "eye." It can use a bonus action to summon 1d4 smaller Clockwork Drones to serve as distractions or to repair it mid-combat. It is stationary but can rotate its upper torso 360 degrees.
Loot
A destroyed Master Overseer can be harvested for its "Central Processor," an artifact that grants a permanent +2 bonus to Intelligence and advantage on all checks made to repair or sabotage clockwork technology.
