Lemmion's Canopy City

Lemmion's Canopy City
Overview & Aesthetic
Lemmion's Canopy City is a breathtaking urban marvel built entirely within the upper branches of a cluster of gargantuan World Trees. The "streets" are wide walkways made of living wood, reinforced with silver filigree and Aether-crystals. The buildings are grown from the trees themselves, featuring elegant, organic shapes and translucent leaf-glass windows. The air is crisp and filled with the scent of pine and fresh rain. As the Emerald Rot spreads, the city is increasingly lit by a sickly, pulsing green glow.
History & Lore
For thousands of years, Lemmion has been the capital of the Sylvan Elves and a bastion of high magic and natural harmony. It was built high above the forest floor to protect the elves from ground-level predators and to bring them closer to the "Aether-Currents" of the sky. With the awakening of Xylira, the city has become a gilded cage, with its beauty masking the growing hive-mind that is slowly consuming its citizens' free will.
