A massive, glowing crystal that pulses with a slow, rhythmic beat, like a living heart. It is warm to the touch and hums with immense magical energy.

Properties

The Aether-Heart is an almost inexhaustible power source.

Endless Power: If installed in an Aether Engine or a large magical vehicle (like a sky-ship or Steamfort), it functions as a perfect power source, requiring no fuel or maintenance for ten years.

Overcharge: While installed, the vehicle's speed is doubled, and any integrated magical weapons deal maximum damage. However, overcharging the heart risks catastrophic failure. If pushed beyond its limits (DM's discretion), the heart may detonate, dealing 20d10 force damage to everything within a 500-foot radius.
