Aether-Harpoons

These massive harpoons are forged from a specialized alloy and etched with Aetheric runes. They are typically fired from ship-mounted ballistae but can be wielded by exceptionally strong individuals.

Properties

You gain a +1 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon.

Shield Piercer: This weapon deals an additional 1d8 force damage to creatures that have natural armor or magical shields (such as the shield spell or bio-organic shields).

Leviathan Tether: When you hit a Huge or larger creature with this harpoon, you can choose to embed it. The target's speed is reduced by half. The creature can use an action to make a DC 15 Strength check to pull the harpoon out, taking 1d10 slashing damage in the process.
