Appearance

Morvath is a water-breathing warlock of the Obsidian Scale whose skin has become scaly, translucent, and deep blue. He has rows of needle-like teeth and bioluminescent markings along his arms. He is always seen riding a corrupted, massive manta ray whose wings drip with dark, oily Aether.

Personality

Morvath is a visionary zealot who believes that the Abyssal Sovereign is the world's true cleanser, a god-beast sent to reset a broken world. He is surprisingly eloquent and can be quite persuasive, especially to those who have been marginalized by the cities of Aethervale.

Secret Motives

Morvath's ultimate desire is "Apotheosis through Consumption." He intends to be swallowed by the Abyssal Sovereign, believing that his consciousness will then merge with the beast, allowing him to direct its path of destruction and personally oversee the shattering of the Sunken Junction.

Combat Tactics

Fighting from the back of his manta ray, Morvath uses powerful water-based evocations and "Void-Lures" to summon smaller deep-sea predators to the fight. He can cast Hunger of Hadar re-flavored as a cloud of abyssal ink and uses his manta ray's tail-stinger to paralyze any enemies who manage to close the distance.
